I am an experienced, dedicated, and enthusiastic-focused professional. I am currently Assistant Head of Whole School Safeguarding at Harrow Beijing, China. All through my teaching career I have been passionate about Safeguarding and how we develop this in schools. As a collaborator I believe that we only truly achieve the vision of a strong safeguarding culture when we work together as schools and share our skills and practice. Previously I have held the role of Head of Wellbeing, DSL and PSHE lead at Rugby School Thailand. I have held previous roles as Assistant Head of Secondary of Whole School Inclusion, well-being, student support, and whole school Designated Safeguarding Lead. I have held other senior positions such as Director of Sport and specialized in Physical Education, Dance and Outdoor Education. I am qualified to teach IGCSE/IB English Language with experience and understanding of all IB PYP, MYP, and DP programmes. I would say I specialise in multi-agency working, collaboration and building internal systems in schools to safeguard school communities. I am an Ofsted, CFT, EDT graded ‘Outstanding’ qualified UK curriculum/IB Teacher, Senior Leader, and Staff Safeguarding Governor.
