Ulfana Ismayilli is a science teacher working in an international school in Baku, Azerbaijan. She is experienced in both the IB and British curricula and supports students in preparing for external examinations. In addition to her teaching roles, she has worked as a teacher trainer, delivering PD sessions to educators across the country. Ulfana is deeply passionate about social-emotional learning (SEL), integrating SDGs into teaching practice, actively promoting diversity and inclusion, and is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture where every learner feels valued and empowered. She holds a BSc in Chemistry and Biology Teaching, an MSc in Bioengineering, and is currently pursuing an MA in Education: Leadership and Management at the University of Bath. She also completed a Certificate in School Leadership and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
