Bekki spent the first 10 years of her career working as a primary school teacher in Manchester, specialising in teaching English as an additional language and PSHE. She is responsible for developing Voice 21’s online module content and educational resources for its member schools, combining her expertise in oracy with a passion for language and literacy. Bekki is the author of a weekly newsletter, ‘Talk on Tuesday’, which highlights the very best of oracy practice going on in Voice 21’s network.
