I am a dynamic leader who is a passionate diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) advocate; an ethical leader who is vision & values-led. I strive to model integrity as a values-led leader. I am committed to developing a diverse & flexible workforce, nurturing talent, building confidence & empowering under-represented groups to lead. I am an outward-facing systems leader, passionate about disseminating best practice. As a Specialist Leader in Education I am committed to identifying & nurturing bright spots through coaching & CPD. I am a train the trainer for SLEs, a NCTL coach & face-to-face/ online facilitator for the NPQs. I believe that partnerships & collaboration are key to sharing best practice - I am a Leadership Matters Associate, a Values-based Education Associate; a Mental Health in Schools Award coach; a CCT councillor; an Associate Lecturer and a Resilient Leaders Elements Coach. I am the co-founder of #WomenEd, a grassroots organisation that connects, develops & empowers aspiring & existing female leaders and the founder of #DiverseEd. I have facilitated training for Teach First, Ambition School Leadership & coached leaders through the DfE's Diversity & Equality Grants. I co-chair a national diversity steering group & I worked with Ambition School Leadership on designing the pilot for the new women only NPQH pathway. I have led 3 DFE funded Diversity & Equality leadership programmes to support women leaders & BAME leaders in their career progression. I was the founding Executive Headteacher of two start up schools. Our values-led schools were passionate about creating rights respecting global citizens who are change agents for social equity. We were delighted to have received national recognition for our work: Mental Health Schools Award; Rights Respecting Schools Award; Educate and Celebrate Award; Values-Based Education Schools Award; Place2Be Wellbeing Schools Award. I am passionate about nurturing trainee teachers and supporting Early Career Teachers. I have led PGCE, NQT and RQT programmes for schools, MATs, TSAs and HEIs. I am an advocate of effective coaching and mentoring programmes to grow future leaders. I am an experienced public speaker, trainer and facilitator on a range of topics including talent spotting, people management and organisational values. The golden thread of my work is leadership development - empowering people to lead change in self and others.
