Following discussions on creating a culture of agency amongst staff at an international school and a recent article on agency and collective teacher efficacy, Gareth Alcott, CEO at School Improvement Tracker, leads the discussion in this webinar on driving school improvement through developing teacher agency.
Collective teacher efficacy and teacher agency are closely linked. When teachers believe in their collective ability to make a difference, they are more likely to feel empowered to make pro-active decisions and take actions that will contribute to change.
What is understood by teacher agency and how can a culture of agency can be sustainably implemented in a school?
As with any school, one of the main requirements is to review and assess its provision in key areas of today’s education landscape
Our organisation has just taken on School Improvement Tracker across our 23 UK campuses as a means of evaluating our provision in Learning Support, Use of Additional Adults and AGT.
