School Director and Founder | Colegio Ikigai (Mexico City)

I am the owner and general director of a boutique Kinder and Primary school in Mexico City on the cutting-edge of educational innovation. I work as a Metaverse and VR consultant with schools and educational companies from all over the world. Colegio Ikigai has been named the 'The First School in the Metaverse in Mexico' and our school methodology is focused on Phenomenon Based Learning ideas, inspired by the educational work of Finland. I am on a passionate daily quest to discover new ways of leading, teaching, and learning, so we can dramatically improve schools and empower future generations of learners to make a significant positive impact on the development of the human race. I love to engage in new types of learning which are inspired by Web3 ideas. I emphasize ability development in my school and I constantly look to improve the critical thinking of the children in my care through a focus on a creative curriculum. I am an empathic and intuitive leader, who places a high value on the skills of collaboration, communication, creativity, and thinking critically in schools, to effectively improve the system. I have the desire to make an impact in the world, through the kindness I use to connect with people daily. It is great fun to develop different and life-changing educational projects which can create a new profile of learner, ready to navigate the complexities and challenges of the future professional skill set. The idea of a hyper-personalized, free, and high-quality educational system to meet the needs of all the children on the planet is my MTP (Massive Transformational Purpose), and engaging in high-quality conversation can help transform the current educational system into a more relevant learning system is a key feature of my thinking about the world and educational systems. Regenerative learning systems and self-sovereignty identity projects are key to the development of the students in my school and I am constantly looking to improve and develop our school curriculum to reflect these ideas. I have a strong interest in all Metaverse, blockchain, and NFT projects that have the power to transform educational settings and impact school and student learning. I enjoy working with VR and Metaverse projects in the school setting and I am developing my Web3 curriculum for Colegio Ikigai and my future school projects. Proud father and proud husband and infinitely grateful to have a large impact on the life of my family and the students and teachers I aim to serve.
