Concept-Based Inquiry Educator * Mathematics Coach * Concept-Based Curriculum Instructor & Workshop Leader

I am passionate about shaping a vision of academic success for students and creating a climate where this vision can flourish. I love coaching teachers and helping them refine their craft through understanding the scope and sequence of the curriculum and how to breathe life into this in their classrooms. I am a firm believer in the power of a concept-based curriculum and inquiry driven learning. An area of the curriculum that particularly excites me is Mathematics and the Mathematical Mindsets work of Jo Boaler. Jo Boaler's work and research changed my life and I believe it can give every child and adult of positive image of themselves as Mathematicians. Too many people have suffered 'Math Trauma' and it's part of my mission to help people see it for the creative and beautiful subject that it is.
