Dance company that has been working with students in primary schools and kindergartens for the past 8 years. The Moververse was a concept born during covid that has now grown into a professional teaching resource online that teachers can use in classrooms every day. Focussed on Social Development courses and workshops using Ballroom and Latin Dancing as a medium, for primary and kindergartens. There is a major focus on creating an inclusive environment and maximum participation, through positive and pastoral education. Move For Life work with some of Hong Kong's best schools, including, Harrow School, Kellett College, Yew Chung International School, Quarry Bay, West Island School and various other ESF branches. Move For Life has made dancing cool for boys not just girls - as ballroom dancing (partnered dancing) is a key element to help the social development of young people, by bringing them together physically in a real life situation. While dancing is about expression and building confidence it is also much more than that. Ballroom Dancing or partner dancing is about bringing people, cultures and races together, breaking down physical barriers and understanding social etiquette during the early years of life. As Managing Director Joshua is responsible for business development, strategy, growing and training the team and for working with management to create exiting and innovative courses for the company. Joshua has an extensive dance background, having spent 25 years competing and teaching in the International Ballroom Dancing industry as a Latin American specialist on the international and local competitive scene.
