Primary science specialist teacher, trainer and author
I am a part-time primary science specialist teacher and provides educational consultancy for companies such as DK. I train teachers in using stories to teach science, write books on this topic and present my work at conferences. I also write picture books which teach science through story. In 2015, I won the PSTT Primary Science Teacher of the Year award and in 2019, I won the ASE Book of the Year prize for her book ‘The Molliebird’. I am also a DK author and have written 1000 Words Nature, 1000 Animal Words and The Really Incredible Science Book.
